The Abington Junior Comets will accept football and cheerleading registrations by mail until July 15 for football and July 21 for cheerleading. The fee to register is $135 for first child, each additional player/cheerleader from the same family is $60 per child. Applications are available online at . If you are new to the organization or did not participate last year, you must submit a recent photo and copy of a birth certificate with your sign up forms. There will be no sign ups taken after equipment is handed out. Sign ups can be done in person at equipment handouts which will be held at the Field House at Abington Heights High School as follows: Football A Team, Monday, July 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.; B Team, Tuesday, July 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.; C team, Wednesday, July 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. You will only be given equipment on your assigned day, even in the case of siblings. Coaches from respective teams will be on hand to insure proper sizing. Cheerleading C Team, Monday, July 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.; B Team, Tuesday, July 21 from 6 to 7 p.m.; A Team, Tuesday, July 21 from 7 to 8 p.m. Practice begins on July 22.
