The line play that carried Abington Heights High School to District II Class AAA football championship and a share of the Lackawanna Football Conference Division I title continues to be recognized in off-season awards.
The latest honor includes a sweep of the Hookey Reap Award, which goes to the top offensive and defensive linemen in Lackawanna County.
University of Maryland recruit Sal Conaboy, who was recently selected to represent Pennsylvania against Ohio in the Big 33 Football Classic, is the offensive winner.
Evan Craig, who is working toward a possible defense of his state wrestling title, was the offensive winner.
The Comets claimed three of the top four spots in voting.
Morgan Craig was the runner-up for the defensive award.
Dunmore tight end Brian Copeland, who helped the Bucks to an unbeaten regular season along with division and district titles, was second in votes on the offensive side.
