The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center donated toys made by the students from the Cabinetmaking/Carpentry Program to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. A variety of toys were donated and then distributed by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to many local families. For more information about the SCCTC, call Dr. Alice M. Davis at 570. 278.9229 ext. 783. Students from seven area high schools attend the SCCTC. Sending schools include Blue Ridge, Elk Lake, Lackawanna Trail, Montrose Area, Mountain View, Susquehanna Community, and Tunkhannock Area High Schools. The programs are available to both high school students; grades 10-12 and adult learners.
