Grab your running shoes for the 15th annual Lackawanna County Commissioners Cross Country Invitational, which will be held Saturday, September 27, at McDade Park.
The PIAA event for junior high and high school students is hosted by the Scranton High School and West Scranton High School Cross Country Booster Clubs. Jack McGuigan is the race chairman. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded to the top finishers in various age groups. Entry deadline is September 24, and the race is limited to 40 teams.
