A spaghetti dinner was held at the Clarks Summit Fire Department, 321 Bedford St., Clarks Summit, Saturday, July 31, to benefit former Scranton firefighter and current Clarks Summit resident Jim Fanning.
Funds raised will help Fanning, who spent nearly 30 years with the local fire department, and his family defray the cost of various medical bills.
Approximately $2,800 was raised in all.
