Frances F. Ridgeway, 100, N. Abington Township, died Thursday afternoon, Oct. 21, at the Abington Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Harvey Ridgeway, who died in 1996.
Born on March 27, 1910 in N. Abington Township, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Florence Foster Hopfer. She was a lifelong resident of N. Abington Township and a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Mansfield University.
Surviving are a son, Roy Ridgeway, and a nephew, Frank Ridgeway.
The funeral was held Sunday in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Barbara Snyder, pastor of the Waverly United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Clifford Valley Cemetery.To sign the online guestbook, visit .
