The 29th annual nine-day Candlelight Rosary Novena will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1101 Willow Street in Peckville, from Saturday, October 4 to Sunday, October 12, beginning at 7 p.m. each evening.
Deacon Carmine Mendicino extends a warm invitation to everyone to join in praying the rosary and to sing hymns in candlelight procession around the church grounds, ending with a solemn closing ceremony and benediction.
A different priest from throughout the diocese will lead the Rosary Procession each evening and deliver a brief homily during benediction, except for the final night, when Deacon Mendicino will lead the procession and provide the sermon.
