During the 2008 Clarks Summit Festival of Ice on February 15 to 18, the Abington Journal held a drawing. In conjunction with the ice sculpture of Harry Potter, the paper raffled as a grand prize a Harry Potter gift pack. Second prize was a limited edition Abington Journal coffee mug filled with candy. The lucky winners were: Breeanna Champlin, 10, Clarks Summit and Renate Kropiewnicki, Justus.
