Merial V. Simoncelli, Dalton, the former Merial Broadhurst, died Saturday, March 6. She was the wife of the late Benedict P. Simoncelli.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora Dempsy Broadhurst. She attended Scranton Central High School and has since resided in Dalton with her family. Surviving are two sons, Robert and Joseph, daughter- in- law Jeanne; sister -in -law, Kay; two granddaughters, Christine and Maureen; great-grandson, Ben; great-granddaughter Gianna; nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Paul Broadhurst.
Arrangements from Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA. Funeral was to be Monday, March 10, with Mass at Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, Dalton.
