Habitat for Humanity of Lackawanna County will hold an Octoberfest-Beer Tasting on Thursday October 23, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Parish Center.
LT Verrastro will be providing samples of eight different beers during the event that includes a silent and live auction.
Proceeds from this event will be used for the construction of the first new home built by Habitat for Humanity of Lackawanna County in four years.
Habitat for Humanity, with the assistance of the City of Scranton plans to begin construction of the home in the Spring of 2009. Plans for the home will be on display at the event.
