Volunteers arranged to have local trainers on hand to answer questions about dog park etiquette and behavioral issues, and representatives from local rescue groups were available to discuss adoption procedures at the opening of the Abington Dog Park Oct. 16. Fence post sponsors were presented with plaques. Guests were offered pizza and cake to celebrate. The Dog Park is located above Stroney Soccer Field in the Abington Community Park.
