Patricia Ann Botscheller Buranich, 64, of Factoryville, died Monday, Nov. 1, in Moses Taylor Hospital.
Born Aug. 9, 1946, in Scranton, daughter of Jean Leadbeater Botscheller, Factoryville, and the late Joseph Botscheller Sr., she was a 1964 graduate of Falls Overfield High School, Mill City. Before her illness, she was employed at Marworth, Waverly, as a cook and formerly worked in the kitchen at Keystone College as a cook.
The family extends gratitude to the hemodialysis unit at Mercy Tyler Hospital, Tunkhannock, and its caring staff. The family also wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Sheerer and Dr. Prior and their staffs for their kind, professional treatment.
Patricia was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening and will be especially remembered for her wonderful cooking and happy times with her family. She treasured the happy times shared with her grandchildren, each whom she idolizedindividually in a special way.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah Petty and husband, William B., Clarks Summit; twin children, son, Daniel Buranich and wife, Patrice, Dalton; and daughter, Linda Hood and husband, Dana, Clarks Summit; two brothers, Joseph Botscheller Jr., and wife, Dianne, Dalton and David Botscheller, Dalton; two sisters, Bonnie Wasilisin and husband, Jack, Falls and Janice White, Dalton; five grandchildren, Billy and Samantha Petty, and Victoria and Benjamin Hood, all of Clarks Summit, and Regan Buranich, Dalton.
The memorial service was to be Nov. 4 in the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, with services by Monsignor James J. McGarry. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
