The Lackawanna County Commissioners 2010 Winter Golf Clinic will be held Feb. 22 through March 19 at South Scranton Intermediate School Gymnasium, 355 Maple St. The weekly sessions for adults will be offered on four consecutive Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 to 8 p.m. or 8:30 to 10 p.m. Youth sessions, age 8 to 16, will be held on four consecutive Fridays beginning Feb. 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. or 8:30 to 10 p.m.
The price of the clinic is $40 per person. Checks should be made payable to the Lackawanna County Treasurer, Attention Winter Golf Clinic. Applications are available on line at or by calling the Lackawanna County Parks and Recreation Department at 570-963-6764. To register, send completed registration and payment to McDade Park, Bald Mountain Road, Scranton, PA 18504. The deadline for registration is Feb. 19.
