Shoppers browse through the merchandise of local businesses Designed to benefit all of Northeastern Pennsylvania, ibuynepa.com is unique in its approach, enabling shoppers to log onto a single website and buy from many local vendors, at one e-commerce marketplace. ibuynepa.com is not an e-bay type site, nor is it a business directory. It is more like an online mall with a single, convenient checkout. With computers in nearly 400,000 households, more than $125 million was spent online last year alone by residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania, according to Simmons Research. Funds received by the non-profit entity, ibuynepa, Inc., will be reinvested into ongoing marketing and advertising programs.
