People all over Northeastern Pennsylvania received pink streaks in their hair for a $15 donation to the American Cancer Society since the campaign first began in 2007.
This year, Pinked has expanded to include not only salons, but also area businesses, schools and universities, which hosted Pinked! days and raised funds for the Lackawanna County American Cancer Society.
In 2009, Pinked! raised $33,000, according to Event Chair Timmie Ott.
