C.S. resident sentenced in Internet child porn case

Clarks Summit resident Jorge Coronel was sentenced to seven days in Lackawanna County Prison Tuesday, Sept. 14. Coronel was arrested December 8, 2009 for possession and responsible distribution of child pornography. Following his time in jail Coronel, 39, will serve four months of house arrest and four and a half years on probation. Coronel was one of 12 men arrested last winter for swapping files with undercover police over the Internet. Other men arrested in the search included: Clarks Summit resident Albert Zheng, 21, was ordered to serve six months of house arrest and four and a half years of probation May 25, and Dalton resident Mark Dill, 40, whose case is currently pending in county court.
