The Washington College Athletics Department held its annual athletic awards ceremony recently, honoring the top student-athletes for the 2009-2010 academic year. Team Most Valuable Players (MVPs) and Most Improved Players were named, and several special departmental awards were presented as well.
Senior Elena Nicholoff (Tunkhannock/Lackawanna Trail) received a Senior Athletic Award and was named an MVP for goalkeeping in field hockey at the school in Chestertown, Md.
