A fishing derby sponsored by Countryside Community Church will take place on Saturday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Abington Heights Middle School pond. The event is free and no registration is required. Prizes will be given to all children.
Other activities, such as pony rides and face painting, will be offered. Another featured highlight will be a guest appearance by Champ, the Scranton Wilkes- Barre Yankees Mascot.
