From left, Lance Corporal Megan Torkington and Sergeant Jeffery Martinez made a stop on South State Street in front of The Abington Journal office to collect toys that were donated at the drop off spot this year. This is the 60th anniversary for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots drive. Last year, more than 19.2 million toys were donated, over 7.6 million children received the toys. Marines will insure that the toys that go to the children are age appropriate. Toys are 100 percent tax deductible.
