Any child who wants to try new things and explore the wonders of nature can do it at the Endless Mountains Nature Center (EMNC) Day Camp at Camp Lackawanna on Vosburg Neck Road, Tunkhannock. Playing games, hiking trails, studying river and forest life, and making art and crafts will be available to children ages pre-K through six. A maximum of 14 students participate in each session of camp which is run by two professional environmental educators and their assistants.
Children entering preschool, ages four and over, and kindergarten attend camp Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Sessions available include: July 23 to 27 and August 13 to 17. Available sessions for children entering grades two through six include: July 23 to 27 and August 13 to17 for grade 1; August 6 to 10 for grades two and three; August 20 to 24, 2007 for grades two through five and July 16 to 20 for grades four through six.
