Health Care Center named 2007 CAP winner

Lackawanna County recently received the 2007 Cooperation Achievement Productivity (CAP) Award from Northeast Pennsylvania Labor Management Council for the Lackawanna County Health Care Center and SEIU1199 P. The Purpose of the CAP Award Program is to recognize and pay tribute to labor and management teams who best exemplify cooperative labor management relations. The Lackawanna County Health Care Center has 378 employees working together to provide long term (Nursing Care) to 272 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is the second year in a row that Lackawanna County has won the award, being recognized for improvements at Lackawanna County Prison in 2006.
