Keystone College students Adam Lachmanski and Sadie Allen are the featured First Friday artists at Phoenix Cuts Salon, 115 Penn Ave., Scranton, on Friday, June 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. Both have created artwork along a specific animal- and nature-centered theme. The enthusiasm toward the work was heightened through a volunteer status they shared at the Genesis Wildlife Center in Nay Aug Park, Scranton. Half of the proceeds from the June 1 show will benefit the center, which was recently declined grant funding. For more information, call 341-8860.
