Sylvia Conslato, 91, of Scranton, died Saturday, March 24, at the home of her son and daughter in law, Ernest and Shirley McCoy in Lincoln, DE. She was the widow of the late Clarence Conslato, who died February 5, 1972. Born in Scranton on May 1st, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Matilda Hyle-Swingle. She was employed by the Scranton Lace Company for more than 20 years. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ernest E. and Shirley McCoy, Lincoln, DE; a sister Evelyn Eibes, Scranton; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Matilda McCoy and Marie Rudd; two brothers, Edward and Floyd Swingle; and a sister Leona Eibes. A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Msgr. James McGarry, pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in the name of her beloved daughter Marie Rudd.
