The Lackawanna County Humane Society has these cats, Jester, Lucy and Annie, available for adoption. They are each about 5 or 6 months old. They like other cats, are playful and litterbox trained. Jester, Lucy or Annie could be adopted for $75 each.
The adoption fee includes leukemia test, distemper shot, worming, spaying or neutering, microchip and registration. The HSLC is in need of cat food and litter. If you can help, contact the shelter, or drop off your donation during business hours seven days a week, 12 to 4:30 p.m.
Also the Pet Halloween Parade is set for Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the shelter.
