Heritage Train heads to Pioneer Days

Tickets are now available at all Lackawanna County libraries for the Heritage Explorer Train. The train leaves Steamtown National Historic Site on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. and travels up the valley to Carbondale to celebrate the annual Pioneer Days. The train arrives back in Scranton at 4:30 p.m. There will be music, entertainment, snacks and a free activity guide on the train. Tickets are free for children 12 and under, $4 for seniors 65 and older and $5 for adults. All riders must have a ticket. For info, call 963-6730.
