The Countryside Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to land and water conservation, recently established endowment funds with two community foundations that serve our region: the Scranton Area Foundation, serving Lackawanna County, and the Community Foundation of Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties.
These funds were established with a gift from Bill and Mary Scranton, who expressed the hope that the Conservancy would consider using it to create an endowment.
These funds may also be enhanced by tax-deductible donations by individuals and businesses. Gifts to the Scranton Area Foundation may be sent to Jeanne Bovard at Bank Towers Suite 608, 321 Spruce Street, Scranton, PA 18503. Gifts to the Community Foundation of Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties may be sent to Peter Quigg at 36 Lake Avenue in Montrose, PA 18801.
