William John Brzozowsky, 66, Chinchilla, died Saturday, August 25 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. His wife is the former Jeannette Mihok; they were married 45 years last May. Bill was born in Scranton, son of the late John M. and Julia J. Yerich Brzowski, and was a resident of Chinchilla for the past 39 years. Prior to retirement in 2004, he was a Distributor for Crystal Soda Water Co. for 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Clarks Summit, where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent of the Sunday School, member of the Church Council, and Usher. He was a former member of the South Abington Lions Club. He was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and attended the University of Scranton. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for two years. The family wishes to thank Dr. William Heim and the staff at Hematology and Oncology Associates of Northeastern PA for their care and concern during the past two years. Also surviving are a daughter, Jan B. Calianno, and her husband Joseph, Gambrills, MD; a son, Keith W., and his wife Regina, Crofton, MD; a sister, Diane B. Davis, and her husband Walter, Harrisburg; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin sons, Andrew W. and Christian W. A funeral will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 11a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 W. Grove St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. George J. Mathews, pastor. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Dickson City. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
