Online course offerings, educational technology and support staff will grow at Baptist Bible College and Seminary with the help of a $100,000 grant. The money was awarded by a family foundation. It will be used to buy new computer equipment and software, transfer existing courses into online courses and market distance learning programs more effectively.
The school has offered such distance learning options for more than 20 years. The aim of improving distance learning options is to assist the College, Graduate School and Seminary in accomplishing a combined goal of providing complete online ministry degrees for students everywhere. The College and Graduate School currently have several courses in online and distance formats. The Seminary offers 20 percent of its courses online.
