The Nursing Department at College Misericordia recently held its annual Pinning Ceremony in Walsh Auditorium for 100 undergraduate nursing students. Thirty students graduated from the Part-Time Accelerated Evening Nursing Program and 29 from the RN to BSN Expressway Program. Undergraduate nursing students receive the College Misericordia Nursing Pin, a symbol of achievement in the nursing profession. The American Red Cross and the American Heart Association presented community awards to graduating students. Among the Part-Time Accelerated Evening Nursing Program graduates were Sam Kimmel, of Falls and Susan Borgna, of Clarks Summit.
