TUNKHANNOCK — A packed house is the only way to describe the lobby of the Dietrich Theater on Friday, April 10 as film enthusiasts gathered for the Spring Film Festival.
Erica Rogler, theater director, said the event was close to a sell out with 275 tickets sold.
“Hildy (Morgan, former theater director) taught Ronnie (Harvey, assistant general manager) how to book movies. He worked with our film buyer in New York City to book this festival,” Rogler noted.
At the Opening Night Gala, ticket holders had an opportunity to sample food, beer and wine from area business and see two Academy Award-nominated movies, “Still Alice” and “Wild Tales.”
The festival will run through April 30 and movie times can be found on line at dietrichtheater.com.
