Jack and Nancy Hiddlestone, of Clarks Summit, will reach their 60-year wedding anniversary on May 14. The couple was wed on that day in 1955 at Elm Park Methodist Church in Scranton.
John, (Jack) G. Hiddlestone, Jr. graduated from Scranton Technical High School in 1946 and immediately joined the U.S. Army, spending his first year of enlistment in South Korea. Nancy Hiddlestone, formerly Nancy Sanders, graduated from the same school five years later.
They have one daughter, Suzanne, who is married to Joe Shea. The Glenburn couple also has a daughter, Samantha Shea, 18.
