SCRANTON — Timothy McNamara, of Factoryville, joined Community Bank N.A.’s Community Investment Services as a financial consultant out of the bank’s Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, branch. McNamara specializes in helping individuals, families and business owners plan for retirement, save for their children’s or grandchildren’s education, and preserve their wealth.
After graduating from Saint Joseph’s University in 2002 with a degree in marketing, McNamara started an eight-year career in the mortgage industry, which included owning and operating his own mortgage brokerage business. During that time, he earned his MBA, with a concentration in finance and investments, from Marywood University.
McNamara works with a team at Community Bank Wealth Management to provide financial services, including retirement planning, estate planning, college funding, investment planning and insurance services.
