CLARKS SUMMIT – For the third consecutive year, the Excellence in School Theater Arts (ESTA) Awards, in collaboration with Ghostlight Productions, will hold its annual Awards Gala at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Genetti Manor in Dickson City.

The ESTA Awards program seeks to applaud the hard work and dedication of the many talented high school students in Northeastern Pennsylvania, spurring them to higher levels of excellence in all aspects of theater through friendly competition and community recognition.

The third year of this exciting program includes 12 high schools from across the region: Abington Heights, Elk Lake, Forest City, Lackawanna Trail, Lakeland, Mid Valley, North Pocono, Old Forge, Riverside, Scranton, Valley View, and West Scranton.

Jillian Kemmerer, a member of Ghostlight Productions and a long time music and theater lover and performer, is the founder and organizer of this event.

The awards gala is open to all members of the public, in order to allow parents, teachers, and other community members to attend and show their support to those students that are nominated. Tickets are $18 in advance and are available for purchase at eventbrite.com or for $20 at the door.

For additional information, contact Kemmerer at 631-357-1463 or nepaesta@gmail.com.
