SCRANTON – The AAA North Penn Travel Agency held its annual meeting this past November, at which it honored the hard work and dedication of its travel professionals. Three agents received special awards recognizing their achievements for 2014:
Brenda Frystak, from the Tunkhannock office, reached the top three many times for AAA Travel. She brings 20 years of travel experience to work with her each day, 15 of those years with AAA.
Melanie Kavetski, from the Scranton office, is also no stranger to receiving awards from AAA Travel. She has worked for AAA for more than 30 years, and the company is proud of the fact that she is a multiple winner, having won the top award six out of the last eight years. One of her many accomplishments includes exceeding $1 million in gross sales for a year.
Cindy Welshans, from the South Williamsport office, was named Agent of the Year for the first time in her career. Welshans has been with AAA for over 45 years. She started her career in domestic travel by marking maps and designing trip tiks for our motoring members. She moved into the travel agency in the mid-90’s.
