The Abington Heights High School field will be the first to receive a field makeover courtesy of The RailRiders Adopt-A-Field program on Tuesday, April 29 at 8:30 a.m.

The program provided the opportunity for a professional makeover to NEPA baseball/softball fields in need. Each field’s host personnel will be taught how to maintain the same professional-level look for years to come. In the off-season, the RailRiders accepted a number of field nominations and online voting selected four winners (one high school field; one softball field; two youth fields).

The Comets were voted the winner of this year’s high school field category by the general public. The RailRiders front office staff and grounds crew will be on hand for the event.
