Jefferson Starship will perform at Community Concerts at Lackawanna College at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 as the 2014-15 concert season continues.

The legendary rock band prevails as one of the most critically acclaimed touring acts today. Steeped in the fantastic realms of science fiction and the contemporary American shadow land, Jefferson Starship features a cast of old and new players, such as songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Paul Kantner and David Freidburg, both of whom founded Jefferson Airplane and were crucial in developing the renowned “San Francisco Sound” that changed the course of pop music forever.

Jefferson Starship comes to Community Concerts at Lackawanna College as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour, featuring new front woman, Cathy Richardson.

Single tickets are available for $47 and $40 and can be purchased online at www.etix.com, by phone at 570-955-1455, or through the Box Office, located at Lackawanna College in Angeli Hall, 501 Vine St., Scranton. For more information regarding the season, visit www.lackawanna.edu/communityconcerts.
