In celebration of Earth Day, the Keystone College Concerts and Lectures Series will present a multimedia presentation and lecture, “Hiking the Endless Mountains,” by Jeff Mitchell on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in Evans Hall, Hibbard Campus Center. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

Audience members will see highlights of Mitchell’s hiking experiences, including photos of mountain and stream panoramas, seldom seen flora and fauna, and waterfalls.

Mitchell is the author of “Hiking the Endless Mountains”, “Backpacking Pennsylvania”, “Hiking the Allegheny National Forest” and “Paddling Pennsylvania.”

Next year, he will publish his book, “Backpacking New York.” Mitchell is also a board member of the Keystone Trails Association, a former board member of the Countryside Conservancy, and currently serves as the Wyoming County District Attorney.

Copies of Mitchell’s books will be available for purchase the evening of the lecture. For more information, please contact Dana Harris at 570-945-8421 or
