The Abington Community Library needs hundreds of clean plastic bottle caps, all sizes (up to coffee can lid size) and colors for a “novel” event coming to Clarks Summit in April. Caps can be dropped off at the Abington Community Library, the Abington Art Studio, or Everything Natural before April 1.
Leadership Lackawanna now accepting applications for its 2014 Core Program Class, deadline to apply is April 30. Participants gain leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills, as well as an enhanced understanding of the issues relevant to the Greater Scranton area, through monthly sessions.
