Keystone College’s second annual Cupcake Challenge, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, will now take place in the new year.
“Due to the impending snow storm,” said Associate Professor Brenda Lidy, “the event planning students have decided to postpone the event to Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.”
A fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the Cupcake Challenge was planned by students in Lidy’s Intro to Event Planning class as a final exam project. It will feature several area bakers who will bring three different flavors of cupcakes each — 100 treats total. Winners will be chosen in four categories: people’s choice, most original, best taste and most artistic.
