The Northern Tier Symphony announced its fall program with concerts at two locations in November.

The orchestra, led by music director and conductor Robert Helmacy, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at Tunkhannock Area Middle School and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at Blue Ridge High School in New Milford.

This season’s concert will feature a performance by soloist Sara Petokas, of Tunkhannock, who is currently a student at Mansfield University. She will be featured in the second composition on the program.

The program for the concert consists of George Whitefield Chadwick’s “Jubilee,” from Symphonic Sketches; “Horn Concerto No. 4 in E-flat,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; “Rienzi Overture,” by Richard Wagner and “Symphony No. 9 in C,” by Franz Schubert.

All seating for the concerts is general admission. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased at Greenwood’s Furniture, 61 E. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, or at the door.
