Members and friends of the Waverly United Methodist Church have been keeping their hands very busy making various types of prayer shawls for the community. Recently, a number of the shawls were given to the VNA Hospice at the Community Medical Center. Those involved in this outreach project are Georgia Bass, Janet Beck, Kathy Craven and Pastor Barbara Snyder.
