Harry S. Glasson died in Florida after an illness Saturday, Nov. 7, at the age of 80. His wife is Betty Glasson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabella Oliver Glasson.
He was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Sherman Glasson. He was a resident of N. Fort Myers, Florida, for the past 20 years and formerly of Clarks Summit. He was an Army veteran during the Korea War. Prior to retirement, he was a lieutenant in the Baltimore City Fire Department and a supportive member of the Clarks Summit Fire department for 64 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kathy Ryan, and her husband, Richard, Florida; a sister, Nancy Spencer, and her husband, Richard, Factoryville; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a nephew.
