Abington Heights High School freshmen orientation program will be held on Thursday, August 13, from 9 to11 a.m. at the High School, located at 222 Noble Road, Clarks Summit. The orientation program is for Abington Heights students entering ninth grade and for high school level students newly enrolled in the District. Attendance is encouraged, and dress should be casual but appropriate for a school setting.
The agenda for the day will include distribution of student schedules and dissemination of information on attendance, discipline, dress code, credits, and extracurricular activities. In addition, upperclassmen, who are student volunteers for the program, will be available to provide a friendly welcome and answer questions as students tour the building. Time will also be allotted for students to practice opening their assigned lockers.
Pamela Murray is the High School Principal and Andrew Snyder serves as Assistant Principal.
