Abington residents offer bright promise to the cause in October at area events to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Each Monday this month, State Street Grill presents guest bartenders for the cause and donates proceeds at the events to the American Cancer Society, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
On Monday, Oct. 5, the women of the Abington Heights Civic League received streaks in their hair for Breast Cancer Awareness month at their club house in Clarks Summit. Hairstylists from Sanderson State Street in Clarks Summit were on hand to provide the color.
