Beginning in August 2009, Angel Food Ministries lifted the policy of a unit order before specials. You are no longer required to purchase a Signature (Regular) Box, a Senior Box, or Allergen Free Box in order to purchase a Special Box, in an effort to help families in struggling times, according to Pastor Joe and Linda Wingo CEO of Angel Food MinistriesMany Angel Food participants routinely purchase food to give away to friends, neighbors and family they know who can benefit. Effective August 1, AFM Gift Cards will be available.
