Moses Taylor Hospital Stroke Support Group to discuss ‘Diet: Food and Nutrition’ Nov. 4

SCRANTON — The Moses Taylor Hospital Stroke Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4 in the 2 West Conference Room at the hospital, 700 Quincy Avenue. The group is open to all survivors of stroke and their caregivers.

This month’s program, “Diet: Food and Nutrition,” will be presented by Kathy Alfieri.

Group facilitators are Colleen Dodgson, R.N., stroke program coordinator at Moses Taylor, and Justina M. Ferguson, M.S.N., R.N., instructor of nursing at Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. Topics range from physical and occupational therapy to medication, music therapy, nutrition and aromatherapy.
