Santa Claus gave his reindeer a break for a few days and allowed his sleigh to be pulled instead by some Lions — members of the Abington Lions Club, that is. Actually, Sant left the sleigh back home at the North Pole and, instead, the local civic organization chauffeured the jolly man around town in members’ vehicles, so he could make pre-Christmas visits to Abington-area children on the nice list. Each child received a large coloring book and box of crayons from Santa’s workshop, as well as a goodie bag filled with dental care products, donated by Abington Dental Arts, P.C.
