Jewish Discovery Center’s annual Jewish Food Fest slated for Aug. 2

CLARKS SUMMIT — The Jewish Discovery Center will present the 10th annual summer celebration, The Jewish Food Fest, from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 on the grounds of PNC Field in Moosic.

Participants from near and far can enjoy a large selection of Jewish ethnic foods, rides, children’s activities and live music by 8th Day Band. Admission is free and all concessions will accept cash and credit card.

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders will play the Columbus Clippers at 1:05 p.m. Tickets range from $7 to $17, depending on the package. Tickets may be ordered by calling 570-587-3300. The Jewish Discovery Center is offering a discount on advanced packages before July 27. Sponsors of $180 or more will receive VIP access and a FestCard in the amount of $100.
