FACTORYVILLE —The Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center PTO began collect clothing for a uniform drive Monday, Aug. 10, and will continue through Friday, Aug. 14 and again Monday, August 17 through Friday, Aug. 21. Items can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Factoryville Borough Hall on these dates.

The PTO is looking for gently used uniform clothing, including shorts, pants, dresses, skirts, polo or collared shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and gym clothing for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The PTO will also accept gently used shoes, coats, book bags and school supplies. Non-school related clothing is not accepted.

Parents and guardians in need of these free items for their students are invited to visit the Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25; from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.
