TUNKHANNOCK — Open Mic Night at the Dietrich Theater returns for another night of community entertainers on Friday, Oct. 23. Musicians, poets, comedians and other performers will kick off the evening with an open mic. The room will then become the stage as Ed Crawley and the Everything Natural Drummers lead attendees in a drum circle.

Doors open for seating and open mic sign-ups at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will be emceed by Angelo Maruzzelli. Admission is free.

Attendees are invited to bring their own drums, shakers and instruments to participate in this month’s feature performance, but audience members shouldn’t worry if they forget their bongos at home. Ed Crawley and the Everything Natural Drummers will provide instruments to ensure everyone is involved. No musical experience is required.

For the past two years, Ed Crawley and the Everything Natural Drummers have been featured performers at the Dietrich’s Open Mic Night. With over 11 years of experience hosting free drum circles at Everything Natural in Clarks Summit, Ed Crawley and the Everything Natural Drummers are well-equipped to deliver a memorable and musical community experience.

Open Mic Night welcomes performers of all ages and types to the Dietrich Theater every fourth Friday of the month. The event is always free and is sponsored by the Dietrich Fundraising Committee. Call the Dietrich at 570-996-1500 for more information.
